Visual Art teacher
Leo Liu
Leo is our dedicated 12+/Adult and Portfolio Visual Art Instructor, a graduate of OCAD University with a major in Illustration. He is highly skilled in both traditional and digital media—including pencil, charcoal, pastel, gouache, watercolour, acrylic, oil, Procreate, Photoshop, and Illustrator. With over three years of teaching experience, Liu specializes in portfolio development, illustration, and character design. His students have successfully been admitted to top programs such as RISD, OCAD, UBC, NSCAD, and the University of Toronto. Passionate about nurturing creativity and technical growth, Liu brings both professionalism and inspiration to his teaching.

Olivia Siu
Olivia is a visual artist and educator with a strong background in both early childhood education and illustration. She holds a diploma in Early Childhood Education from George Brown College and is graduating with honours from the Illustration program at Seneca Polytechnic’s School of Creative Arts & Animation. Olivia has experience teaching children and youth in a variety of creative settings, working across traditional and digital media including charcoal, graphite, acrylic, watercolour, gouache, and digital illustration. As our dedicated instructor for the 8–12 age group, Olivia fosters a supportive environment where young artists are encouraged to explore, express, and refine their creative voices. Her teaching emphasizes student-centered learning, curiosity, and thoughtful guidance. Passionate about nurturing each child’s imagination, she helps them build confidence and find joy through artistic discovery.

Henry He
Henry He is a 2D animator and visual storyteller with over five years of experience in the TV and music animation industries. He blends motion design with traditional animation to create emotionally engaging stories through movement and color. Having worked with studios like Universal Music Group, BrownBag Films, and Rooster Teeth, Henry brings both creative and professional insight to his work. As an digital & animation educator, he believes that every great artist begins with strong art fundamentals, and he’s dedicated to helping students master those skills to build meaningful, expressive work.

Jenny Cheung
Jenny holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from Hong Kong Baptist University, with a diverse background in ceramics, fashion design, traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, and jewellery design. She specializes in watercolours and clay-making, bringing over five years of experience teaching art and craft classes to children. Her lessons foster both creativity and technical skill development. From a young age, Jenny has seen painting as a joyful part of life and a means of introspection. She believes art enhances hand-eye coordination and is a powerful tool for self-expression. Through her thoughtfully designed courses, Jenny inspires students to explore their imagination and confidently express their individuality.

Joyce Chen
Joyce is a visual and 3D artist as well as an art teacher, with over 17 years of experience in drawing and painting. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from China and have a strong foundation in traditional hand-drawing techniques, She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from China and has a strong foundation in traditional hand-drawing techniques, which she combines with her training in Animation and Visual Effects in Canada at Sheridan College and Seneca College.
She loves guiding children to explore painting, drawing, collage, 3D art, and mixed media through fun and imaginative lessons. Her goal is to create a warm and encouraging space where every child feels confident to express their ideas and tell their own stories through art. Miss Joyce, teaching isn’t just about technique—it’s about inspiring creativity, curiosity, and joy.

Rita Wong
Rita is a dedicated visual arts educator with a specialized Bachelor of Education in Visual Arts from The Education University of Hong Kong. Her professional journey spans all levels of learning, from nurturing the earliest sparks of creativity in kindergarten to mentoring the developing talents of high school students. During her years as a Visual Art Panel Head in Hong Kong, Rita was responsible for curriculum development, designing comprehensive and age-appropriate art programs that engaged and inspired young minds.
As our dedicated instructor for the 4–7 age group at Artisonata, Rita creates a vibrant and exploratory environment where our youngest artists feel safe to experiment and play. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in fostering a sense of wonder and building foundational skills through process-based, hands-on activities. With a deep understanding of early childhood development, Rita skillfully guides each child to discover the joy of making art, helping them gain confidence and a positive first step into a lifelong creative journey.

Tiffany Hu
Tiffany is a visual art teacher with experience in international and experimental school environments, working with students from diverse backgrounds and age groups. She studied at National Taiwan Normal University, where she developed a strong foundation in both art practice and education.
Her teaching centers on creativity, independent thinking, and material exploration. Tiffany designs engaging, hands-on lessons that encourage students to observe the world closely and connect with art through artist stories and creative processes. By introducing a wide range of materials and techniques, she supports students in experimenting freely and discovering their own artistic voice.
She believes art education goes beyond technical skills—it builds confidence, curiosity, and the courage to think differently. Tiffany strives to create a warm and inspiring space where every student feels seen, supported, and excited to create.
